All the regular students are the general members of the Students’ Union. Principal is the permanent President of the Students’ Union. The class representatives are elected from the general members every year. These elected class representatives elect the portfolio holders like – Vice President, General Secretary, Assistant General Secretary and other departmental secretaries.

Aims of Students’ Union :

• To build up a healthy and ideal atmosphere for study.
• To solve the problems of the students.
• To build up an atmosphere of cordial relation between the teachers, non-teaching staff and the Students.
• To create an environment of healthy completion among the students through cultural and Sports competitions.
• To arrange cultural programmes and other campus activities.
• To make the students science-oriented by arranging science seminars.
• To arrange for the study of needy and meritorious students by financially assisting them.
  

Students’ Union magazine ‘Chorus’ is published annually with a collection of writings of the students, teachers, non-teaching staff, ex-students and reputed persons. The wall magazine also name ‘Chorus’, is published regularly every three months.
