2. Sachidananda Roy was adjudged the best NSS cadre in Indian and was awarded the INDRA GANDHI NATIONAL AWARD on September, 2004. He has recently visited japan, Malayasia, Singapore, Maldives,Indonesia for orientation sponsored by the ministry of Social welfare, Union Govt. of India.

RESERCH PROJECTS RUNNING IN THE COLLAGE

Eight Research Projects granted by the UGC worth approximately six lakh Rupees are being worked upon our teachers in Chemistry (3), Maths (1), English (2) and Sanskrit (1) departments.
Of these two projects have bee completed by Prof. Swapan Bondyapadhyay and Prof. Tumpa Misra of the department of English and Physics respectively.
